What it does: A month grid of the drafts and topics you have planned, drawn in the site’s own timezone and starting on the day the site starts its week, with a rail beside it for everything still waiting for a date. Drag a card onto a day or type the date into the field on the card — both do the same thing, and both work from the keyboard. How to access: Draft Forge > Calendar. Free/PRO: Free, all of it — the grid, the moves, and handing a finished draft to WordPress for a date. Planning what to write is editorial work, not a capability to sell. Pro adds two layers on top: pale forecast cards showing what the scheduled runs are on course to produce, in the order they will take the topics, and the weekly publishing cap drawn as its own column with any week the forecast would cross it marked. Notes:

• Planning writes one nullable date column and nothing else. Committing a draft to WordPress’s own future status is a separate, explicit act on one draft — the Approve button, deferred.
• A date that has already passed is refused rather than published on the spot, because wp_insert_post() would publish a past-dated future immediately.
• A queue row follows its post however the post moves: published from the block editor, published by wp-cron on its own date, or trashed. The Rank Forge and Lang Forge handoffs fire exactly once either way.
