- Planning writes one nullable date column and nothing else. Committing a draft to WordPress’s own
futurestatus is a separate, explicit act on one draft — the Approve button, deferred. - A date that has already passed is refused rather than published on the spot, because
wp_insert_post()would publish a past-datedfutureimmediately. - A queue row follows its post however the post moves: published from the block editor, published by wp-cron on its own date, or trashed. The Rank Forge and Lang Forge handoffs fire exactly once either way.
